About Us

Meet Streamlly.

A new kind of network — one focused not on headlines, but on humanity.

Streamlly is a hybrid network — part news, part information platform, part human storytelling.

We exist to bring real, human stories to the world — stories that help people become more informed, more prepared, and more connected in the lives they lead.

We don't focus on traditional headlines or the daily news cycle. Instead, we focus on the human stories unfolding inside real places: homes, hospitals, schools, businesses, courtrooms, war zones, and neighborhoods across the globe.

These are the moments that shape people's lives — stories of challenge, resilience, discovery, and survival. The kinds of stories that can give someone hope, introduce them to resources they didn't know existed, or help them better understand the world and the people living in it.

Streamlly is building a new kind of network — one focused not on headlines, but on humanity.

Real stories.
Real people.
Information that can change a life.
We tell news through short cinematic films.

Most news fights how the brain actually works. Research shows people process information best when it's short, visual, structured, and delivered in a single arc.

So we designed every story to work with the brain, not against it — built to help information stick.

People tell us the same thing again and again:

“It just clicks.”
Most news organizations ask you to come to them.

Streamlly does the opposite.

We bring meaningful information directly into the spaces where people live, work, and move through their day.

While you're pumping gas.
Waiting for a flight.
Checking the weather.
Watching the game.
Scrolling your phone.
Binge-watching a show.
Reading a magazine.

Streamlly stories appear across streaming TV, social platforms, mobile apps, digital publications, and screens in everyday spaces — from the TV in your living room to the elevator down the hall, from the phone in your hand to the screen at the airport gate, from the gas pump on your commute to the stadium while you watch the game, and from the weather app in the morning to the cooking show you stream at night.

Through our partner distribution networks, Streamlly has access to more than 1 billion addressable screens worldwide, with continued expansion expected in 2026.

Wherever people already are, Streamlly is there.

Same journalism.
Different delivery.
Streamlly is completely free to watch — everywhere. No paywalls. No subscriptions. No ads. No sponsorships. Our journalism is independent, influence-free, and accessible to everyone.

Streamlly is entirely funded through the public Amplify feature. Anyone — individuals and organizations alike — can amplify an existing story, powering its journey to more screens across the globe.

We don't charge a penny to tell a story. Once published, we rely on the public to determine how far it travels around the world.
Streamlly was founded in 2019 by filmmaker and entrepreneur Alecia Venkataraman.

It began as a side passion — one person, one device, telling human stories that traditional media often overlooked. Between 2022 and 2024, those short films gained unexpected traction and revealed something bigger: people were looking for stories that felt more human, easier to understand, and more connected to real life.

In 2025, Alecia launched Streamlly as a news storytelling network — combining journalism, information, and cinematic filmmaking to bring meaningful stories to audiences wherever they already are.

As Streamlly began growing rapidly in 2026, Alecia sharpened the mission around what started it all: the human story.

Not the mainstream headlines.
Not the clickbait.
But a focus on humanity.

From that point forward, Streamlly became known as the Human Storytelling Network — telling honest, raw human stories unfolding inside homes, hospitals, schools, businesses, courtrooms, and communities every day.

Today, Streamlly is one of the fastest-growing storytelling networks, with stories reaching millions of viewers across everyday screens around the world.
Streamlly is a storytelling network focused on the humanity — both on screen and behind the camera.

Our stories are created by real people: journalists, writers, editors, filmmakers, and actors who are employees with benefits and are deeply committed to their craft. We do not use AI actors or AI-generated creators; AI is used only for tools such as visual effects or workflow improvements.

Every story is carefully verified, reviewed, and told through a human, unbiased lens. We tell human stories as accurately and faithfully as possible, without opinion, speculation, or commentary.

Our role is to present the story — and allow the public to decide how they interpret it, respond to it, and learn from it.

Editorial decisions are made independently and free from advertiser, investor, or political influence.
Streamlly is committed to accuracy above all.

When we get something wrong, we fix it — quickly, transparently, and publicly.

  • If a factual error is identified, a correction is issued as soon as possible
  • Corrections are clearly labeled within the story's newsfeed with the date and nature of the change
  • The original story film may be updated or re-released with corrected information
  • Material corrections that affect the meaning of a story are disclosed publicly

Minor updates — such as typos, formatting, or clarifications that do not change the substance of the story — may be made without a formal correction notice.

To report an error or request a correction, contact us at [email protected].
Streamlly operates under a zero-influence editorial policy.

  • No advertiser, sponsor, or business partner has any input on what stories are told or how they are told
  • Streamlly has no outside investors — the company is fully bootstrapped and independently owned
  • We do not accept paid placements, sponsored stories, or native advertising disguised as news
  • If any future content involves a partnership or sponsorship, it will be clearly disclosed
